If this is your first time receiving an NFT, we’ve put together a quick tutorial for you to get started. The below process will take only 3–4 minutes to complete. If you face any issues, write to us at hello@itsmyne.club, and someone from our team will help you out. So here you go:
Install Metamask 👌
Step 1: Go to the Metamask website.
Step 2: Click “Get Chrome Extension” to install Metamask.
Step 3: Click “Add to Chrome” in the upper right.
Step 4: Click “Add Extension” to complete the installation.
You will now Metamask has been installed when you see the fox logo on the upper right-hand corner of your browser.
After Installation, Activate Your Wallet 💪🏼
One of the first tasks you will want to do on Metamask is to install a wallet (or “vault” as Metamask calls it) to hold your cryptocurrencies. To do this, follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Click on the Metamask logo in the upper right hand corner of your Google chrome browser.
Step 2: Read and agree to the terms and conditions. You may have to agree to 2 to 3 pages worth of terms.
Step 3: Enter a password and click “Create” to create your wallet.
Step 4: You will see a set of 12 “seed words” for your vault. Click “Save Seed Words as File” and copy the “MetaMask Seed Words” file that is downloaded to a safe place. You will need it to access your vault.
Step 5: Click “I’ve Copied It Somewhere Safe” once your seed words file has been secured. You’ll be taken into your Metamask wallet!
You are now in the Ethereum mainnet network.
Add Matic (Polygon) Network to your Metamask 👍🏻
In order to receive the NFT drop, you will have to follow a few easy steps to connect to the Matic Mainnet (Polygon).
Here’s how you can go about it:
Step 1: Open Metamask
Open your MetaMask browser extension by clicking the top right corner of your Browser.
Step 2: Go to settings
Click on the logo of your account at the top right of the MetaMask app. Then click on ‘Settings’.
Step 3: Go to networks
In the settings window you will see a list of different settings. Click on ‘Network’. In the following list, you will see all the networks that your MetaMask wallet can connect to. Next, click on the ‘Add Network’ button below.
Step 4: Add the network details #
MetaMask will now ask you to enter a Network Name, New RPC URL, ChainID, Symbol and Block Explorer URL. To add the Polygon network to your MetaMask wallet, enter the following information:
• Network Name: Matic Mainnet
• New RPC URL: https://polygon-rpc.com/
• Chain ID: 137
• Symbol: MATIC
• Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
Step 5: Connect your MetaMask to the Polygon network
The last step is to connect your MetaMask wallet to the network. To do this, click on the current network at the top of your MetaMask wallet. Then click on Matic Mainnet/Polygon.
Congratulations, you have just connected MetaMask wallet to Polygon’s network!
Claim your NFT 👑
Step 1: Open your metamask wallet extension on Chrome and copy your wallet address
Step 2: Now click on this link (ajeetkhuranas.nft) and you will be redirected to the site to claim your NFT.
Step 3: Click on the “Claim your NFT” icon
Step 4: A new window will pop-up. Type your name and paste the wallet address you have your clipboard.
