Itsmyne was chosen for the NFT implementation at the I-Tech Cup game between Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and A.S. Roma
The I-Tech Cup, which was held on July 30 at Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa, Israel, brought together top-notch sport with the most cutting-edge technology, spurring innovation in this field.
NFT Labs is excited to announce that our product, Itsmyne, has been chosen by HYPE Sports Innovation as a technology solution at the I-Tech Cup match between Tottenham Hotspur F.C. and A.S. Roma.
The I-Tech Cup was created to bridge the technology and sporting worlds practically and objectively. The structure was developed by the event’s organizer, MTR7, and Innovation Partner, HYPE Sports Innovation, to highlight technology in a nation known for being a center for high-tech businesses.
Tiago Pinto, Manager of AS Roma said “This match against Tottenham was an invaluable test. Holding the I-Tech Cup in Haifa was the perfect setting as Israel is known as the Startup Nation and is a recognized high-tech hub”.
The I-Tech Cup was an unprecedented opportunity to demonstrate the evolution of live sports both on- and off-field. The I-Tech Cup was an exhibition game and free from the restrictions and rules that are part of the conventional league and federation games. As a result, fans could get a first-hand look at cutting-edge solutions.
NFT Labs distributed commemorative NFTs through the Itsmyne web application as a part of their solution. These acted as a reminder of the famous game while also functioning as tools for randomized prizes in the form of other NFTs and sporting memorabilia. Commemorative NFTs
resemble ticket stubs that a fan could save as a memory that they watched their team play, with the exception that it is a permanent digital record. Together with NFT labs, fans at the I-Tech Cup were able to claim the NFT of their preferred team in under a minute without the need for a cryptocurrency wallet or prior familiarity with cryptocurrencies!
The attendees had to scan a QR code, that took them to a dedicated sign-up page. Upon signing up with a mobile number and an email Id, they were eligible to receive a free NFT!
Approximately one-third of those who scanned the QR code began the sign-up procedure, and 98% of them were successful in earning their free NFTs!
Additionally, NFT labs are producing personalized NFTs for VIPs of the game.
Being one of the technology partners enabled multiple fan sign-ups on NFT Lab’s core product, Itsmyne, and their NFTs now are held in their Itsmyne account. NFT Labs participated in a VIP SportsTech Innovation Expo that took place before the game and highlighted additional international solutions that are expected to have an impact on the sports business over the next five years. This collaboration portrayed Itsmyne as a cutting-edge sports tech solution and will help to attract tie-ups with sports entities and IP owners.
Atharva Sabnis, CEO of NFT Labs, said: “Sports fans have loved to own collectibles and NFTs are now offering a new digitized way of doing it. We aim to bring this new technology to the masses by allowing non-crypto-native people to use it in an intuitive and easy way.”
Amir Raveh, Founder and the President of HYPE Sports Innovation, said: “The I-Tech Cup between Tottenham and A.S. Roma in Israel was an unprecedented opportunity to display live the most innovative tech companies in Sports. NFT Labs was one of the few selected solutions driving the sports industry forward, and I am proud of Atharva Sabnis and the team”.
